Apple launched its innovative tablet device Apple iPad in India yesterday on 28th January 2011. It took around 1 year to introduce the Apple iPad in india after the international launch. Apple iPad will be available in india for a starting price of Rs 27,990/-. Apple is now facing a tight competition from other manufacturers like Motorola, Samsung, Dell etc in the tablet market.

Apple iPad is powered with a 1GHz high-performance processor and has got a 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR technology, Built-in 25-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, Dock connector port, 3.5-mm stereo headphone jack, Built-in speaker, Microphone and Micro SIM card tray. Apple iPad will comes available in 16GB, 32GB or 64GB flash drive models in a choice of WiFi only or WiFi+3G options.
