América 2 (América TV; formerly: Canal 2) is a national channel of Argentina, from La Plata that also broadcasts from Buenos Aires’ Palermo neighbourhood. It was launched on June 25, 1966 as Rivadavia Televisión/TeVeDos, and in April 1991 the name changed to America. The bulk of programming of this channel can be found between 12 p.m.
