Haunted 3D Movie Review
Director Vikram Bhatt works with the star cast of Mahakshay Chakraborty, Tia Bajpai, Sanjay Sharma, Mohan Kapoor, Arif Zakaria and Achint Kaur to create the latest horror flick.
The movie Haunted 3D revolves around a man called Rehan a US returned played by Mahakshay Chakraborty is a young Real Estate broker and helps his father in selling houses. He has been given the ultimate task of selling a mansion named Glen Manor which was believed to have been haunted and terrorized by sprits and a spooky past the story tells us about how Meera gets raped by a spirit who used to teach her piano and gets killed by her in the course of trying to rape her. In the course of learning about the spirits and trying to exorcize them before selling off the house, he falls in love with a spirit Meera (played by Tia Bajpai). Now what would he do to save his love, who is already Dead!!This is the first horror movie which has been made in 3D by Vikram Bhatt. Known for his versatile attitude with making films, Haunted 3D has some great special spooky effects which might get you on the edge of your seat. Vikram Bhatt who has re-launched Mahakshay Chakraborty (also known as Mimoh) has shown himself much fitter and finer, with of course a different look. Set and filmed in the beautiful hill station of Dalhousie and has been really good in grabbing the eye balls of the audience. India’s first stereoscopic movie has a very high technical expertise from Hollywood’s top technicians. It would be a good experience if you watch it in 3D enabled multiplexes. Mahakshay has made a good come back with this movie as his acting is really appreciable. Tia Bajpai who is a new comer has done real good justice to her character. The story which has been written by Amin Hajee has concentrated hard in giving the script a very spooky feeling by making us believe in lockets, magical potion, ghost-frightening crosses etc. The cinematographic of the movie has set high standards as it was used really well. Vikram Bhatt who is well known to make good horror flicks has managed to direct the film in the right direction. Achint Kaur, Sanjay Sharma and Arif Zakaria have done really well in the film as supporting artists and nothing was messy about it. The songs in the movie has been properly sequenced and nicely picturised. The director has perfectly managed to create an illusionary gravity in the film which can really draw towards the film. The scenes in the movie has been executed finely and the special visual and audio effects can give you good shrills in your spines. However Vikram Bhatt’s daughter, Krishna makes her debut in this film by playing young Meera (Tia Bajpai) and mesmerizingly plays the piano. Overall the movie has held its ground firmly by sticking to the script and not trying to do something extra. So go and watch India’s first horror movie in 3D at a multiplex near you.
